FaceFormer Coaching 1:1 Individual Session

Online consultation with Dr. Berndsen and other experienced coaches

We offer 30-minute online sessions via Zoom, which can be held either with Dr. Berndsen or with other experienced coaches. These sessions are intended exclusively for private payers, as in many cases the costs are not covered by health insurance. We therefore offer this service specifically for self-payers.

Our online sessions are primarily aimed at adult customers who would like to carry out FaceFormer training therapy under the guidance of an experienced coach and who find it difficult to do the training on their own. The coach provides advice, ensures that the training with the therapy device is carried out correctly and gives useful tips on integrating the training into everyday life on a regular basis. The coach adapts the training individually to the patient's needs and gives instructions for advanced exercises.

All of our coaches have completed the FaceFormer training course and are certified.

In the initial session, a training plan is drawn up that is individually tailored to the patient. During the training phase, progress is discussed regularly and the training plan is adjusted if necessary. At the end of the training, the entire course is reviewed and it is assessed whether further training is necessary.

You can book as many appointments as you wish. However, we recommend holding a session every 4-6 weeks over a period of 6 months. After these 6 months, it will be assessed whether there is any further need. The patient should carry out the training independently between sessions in order to achieve training success. The sessions serve only as support.

In the initial session, it can also be assessed whether the training can be carried out in a practice that works with health insurance providers, and whether a possible referral from a doctor would cover the costs. However, we cannot guarantee this.

Our coaches, who have extensive expertise in FaceFormer training therapy, do not replace a doctor. They can make recommendations and also support patients mentally when difficulties arise, but they do not accept any liability, as the success of the training depends on the client carrying it out consistently.

For children, the therapy is usually covered by health insurance. Parents can contact practices that carry out FaceFormer therapy with children. You can find a suitable practitioner in our practitioner directory.

Cooperation with other therapists and doctors

We work together with doctors, psychotherapists and professionals from other healthcare professions and reserve the right to refer clients to appropriate specialists if necessary.
